Our Founder – Apoorva’s Story
If you’ve ever quietly chased a dream while life pulled you elsewhere, we already share something!
Hi, I’m Apoorva, the founder of Solitique.
Growing up amidst the vibrant traditions of Rajasthan, jewellery was never just an adornment – it was emotion, memory, and legacy. Every heirloom told a story, every sparkle held a dream. I didn’t know it then, but the dream of building my own jewellery brand was already quietly taking root.
But life had its own rhythm & took me on a different path – engineering at M.S. Ramiah, an MBA at IIM Calcutta, and 15 years in incredible roles at Bain Co, the Gates Foundation, Lodha, and Byju’s. On paper, everything was perfect. But deep down, there was always a whisper – a promise to the girl whose eyes lit up brighter than any jewel when dreaming of creating her own brand.
Eventually, that constant pull became impossible to ignore. Stepping away from corporate comfort wasn’t easy, but the call toward creativity, authenticity, and timeless craftsmanship felt deeply right.
And with that leap, Solitique was born.

Rethinking Diamonds - Genesis of Solitique
In pursuit of what to build in jewellery, I found myself returning to something I had always loved – Diamonds.
Often called a girl’s best friend, they were always close to my heart but affordability, return on investment,
tainted origin and the environmental impact of diamond mining were concerns that cast a shadow on the joy of every
diamond jewellery purchase I made. And I couldn’t help but wonder – what if there was a better alternative?
Enter Lab-grown diamonds - the glowing panacea to all my worries!
